Who is Jason Coleman?
Jason Coleman is a Triad-based real estate investor and portfolio buyer who helps long-time landlords exit rentals smoothly and profitably. He bought his first property in 2016, turned it into a rental, and built his portfolio from the ground up. After receiving terrible representation early in his investing journey, Jason got his real estate license — not to become a salesperson, but to protect his deals and negotiate like a professional. Today, as the founder of Triad Exit Partners, he specializes in cash transactions, seller finance exit structures, creative deal structures, and portfolio strategy for landlords ready to retire or simplify. Jason lives in the Triad with his wife and three daughters and is a passionate advocate for financial literacy and community stewardship. Jason is currently a licensed real estate professional with eXp Realty.
More About Jason
I’m Jason Coleman, founder of Triad Exit Partners, and I help long-time landlords exit their rentals without getting screwed by commissions, clueless agents, wholesalers, or the IRS.
My journey didn’t start in sales — it started in 2016 when I bought my first home, turned it into a rental, and caught the investing bug. I was hooked on cash flow, equity, and the power of real estate. I built my portfolio deal by deal, one property at a time, learning the business the same way most landlords do: through mistakes, hustling, late nights, and trial by fire.
In this time, I’ve built a portfolio of nearly three dozen rentals. What’s more, I personally own all real estate with no partnerships/syndications.
Along the way, I had one of those experiences that changes your direction — an agent who cost me money, wasted my time, and nearly screwed up my deal. And in that moment, I realized something important: No one would ever care about my investments more than I did.
So I got licensed — not to hang my face on a billboard, but to protect my deals, out-negotiate amateurs, and ensure nobody could stand between me and the results I wanted to create.
Over the years, I bought, sold, and held properties across the Triad — building a portfolio and growing deep roots in the community. And in that process, I discovered something else: landlords were being underserved — massively.Especially the ones who had spent 10, 20, or 40 years building something real.
- Agents didn’t understand portfolio exits.
- Wholesalers made insulting offers.
- Investors only offered one path: their way.
- Nobody listened. Nobody offered options. Nobody respected the legacy these owners built.
So I built a company around a simple mission: To help landlords exit smoothly, retire confidently, and keep more of what they built.
Today, I sit on the same side of the table as the seller. I’m a portfolio buyer, a creative finance strategist, and a guide for landlords who want clarity, simplicity, and control. I don’t just sell listings. I don’t flip contracts. I offer options — cash, creative, or phased exits — tailored to your goals.
- Want out fast? I’ll buy it.
- Want monthly income and tax benefits? I’ll structure it.
- Want to exit over time and maximize every dollar? I’ll map it.
Because you deserve more than a one-size-fits-all exit. You deserve respect for the years, headaches, risk, and sacrifice that built your portfolio.
I live here. I invest here. I’m raising my family here. My reputation matters — and so does your outcome.
If you’re thinking about exiting — now or two years from now — I’ll help you do it the smart way, not the default way. No pressure. No gimmicks. Just clarity and strategy from someone who has walked the same path and still plays the same game.
What Clients are Saying
Mike W. — Landlord, Greensboro NC “I’ve worked with a lot of people in real estate over the years. Most talk a good game. Jason actually does what he says he’s going to do — every time, without excuses. That kind of reliability is rare, and when you’re talking about your life’s work, it’s everything. I’ve trusted Jason and his team for years and I’ll keep coming back.”
Cheryl H. — Portfolio Seller, Triad Area “I had a fully paid-off portfolio and no idea how to turn it into retirement income without handing a fortune to the IRS. Jason structured a deal I didn’t even know was possible — I walked away with consistent monthly cash flow, zero landlord headaches, and a tax outcome that actually made sense. I sold him 12 properties directly, and he paid on time every single time without one hiccup. I trusted him so much I handed him the rest of my portfolio to sell on the market too. He’s the real deal.”
Gary M. — Property Seller, Triad Area “I had a property that was complicated — the kind most buyers walk away from the moment they hear the details. Jason didn’t flinch. He assessed it quickly, made a fair offer, and closed professionally without dragging me through months of uncertainty. If you’ve got a problem property you just want gone, Jason is your call.”
Cliff M. — Portfolio Seller, Triad Area “I didn’t hand Jason my whole portfolio at once — I tested him first. Four properties to see how he operated. He was transparent, professional, and hit every commitment. After that, I sold him two more directly to reduce my tax exposure, and honestly, I wish I’d done it that way from the start. If you’re on the fence, just start the conversation. You’ll figure out fast that you’re in good hands.”
